#repost ・・・ ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏼✊🏽✊🏻 Repost @revolution.la - Students staged a “die-in” today in front of the White House to protest gun violence and the need for Congress to create stricter laws on gun control. Teens are channeling pain and anger into political activism! This is a powerful moment right now as students are rising up and calling out people like Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. Rick Scott and the NRA for colluding with politicians to oppose gun control measures. Students plan to create a “Badge of Shame” for politicians who continue to accept money from the NRA. There are 2 major national protests scheduled for March. The National School Walkout, planned by the @Womensmarch is March 14 at 10am. It calls for students, faculty, parents and others to walk out of school for 17 minutes- one minute for each person killed in the Florida shooting. The March for Our lives is on March 24. Students and activists plan to march on Washington, DC, and other cities. #GunReformNow #MarchForOurLives #NationalSchoolWalkout #PresidentsDay2018
